Christine S. Mayernik is Vice President, Regional Oil & Gas Market with Michael Baker International.   In this role, she has responsibility for Michael Baker’s oil and gas market activity in the eastern U.S., primarily in the Marcellus and Utica Shale areas. 

Prior to joining Michael Baker in 2002, Chris held roles in engineering, operations and customer service management for natural gas local distribution companies of the Consolidated Natural Gas System. 

Chris graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University in 1978, and obtained her Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Duquesne University.

She is a member of the Advisory Committees for the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at West Virginia University. Civically engaged she has served on numerous boards and has a passion for leadership development and regional advancement.
