Chi Epsilon: Chi Epsilon is the national civil engineering honor society in the United States. Chi Epsilon was founded in 1922 to recognize and honor civil engineering students and professionals, and now has 130 active chapters at universities across the United States. The WVU student chapter was established in 1949 as the 26th chapter in the nation. To be considered for induction in the organization, a student must rank in the top third of the junior class or the top third of the senior class.
