Mr. Moloy Gupta attended WVU from 1970-1972 and received an MSCE. He obtained his BSCE degree from Judavpur University, India and a second MSC from UCLA specializing in Geotechnical Engineering.
In 1984, Mr. Gupta founded Soils Southwest, Inc. a California Corporation providing Geotechnical Engineering and Geological Services in LA, San Bernardino, Riverside County, San Diego and Ventura Counties. Mr. Gupta served as the President and CEO of the Firm and made it grow from a one man operation to a reputed professional services firm with more than two dozen professionals.
Soils Southwest provides professional evaluations and recommendations in the areas of subsurface explorations and material testing along with evaluations for earthquake fault studies for commercial/industrial structures, medical clinics, family theme parks, hillside developments, hillside stabilizations, and wind-mills/wind farms.
Professional affiliations include MASCE , ISSMFE and Geo-Institute.
State Professional Engineering (PE) registrations include, CA, AZ and OR.
