Mr. Lewis obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University in 1983. Since graduation, he has been a practicing geotechnical engineer for Gannett Fleming, Inc., where he is now Vice President and Geotechnical Practice Leader.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lewis has provided geotechnical expertise on highway and bridge, transit and rail, tunnels, dams, landfills, landslides, ground modification and other heavy civil projects throughout the United States and internationally. He is the author of eight technical publications and has presented at numerous technical conferences and workshops.

Mr. Lewis is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, Alaska, and Florida. He is a former instructor at Penn State University’s College of Engineering Continuing Education office. He is currently a member of ASCE, Central PA Section Board of Directors, Deep Foundations Institute, and the Association of State Dam Safety Officials. He has participated in numerous charitable, civic, and community events and organizations since graduation.
