Ziad A. Sabra, Ph.D., P.E., PTOE is the President and CEO at Sabra & Associates, Inc., a Civil Engineering Consulting Firm, headquartered in Columbia, Maryland.
Dr. Sabra holds a BSCE (1981), a MSCE (1983) and a Ph.D. (1986) from West Virginia University and is a registered Professional Engineer.
In 1984, he was selected as one of 17 finalists, nationwide, under the FHWA Eisenhower Research Fellowship Program to complete his Doctorate research at the FHWA Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center in McLean, VA.
In 1985, he joined a start-up civil engineering firm in Columbia, MD as a Transportation Engineer.
In 1990 he was promoted to Vice President. In 1993, Dr. Sabra launched his own engineering firm in Maryland and by 2017 the firm grew to 160 professionals, serving the Mid-Atlantic region from four offices.
